Department of Rehabilitation (DOR)

What is it?

The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works with community partners to provide vocational rehabilitation, employment counseling training and education, job search and placement assistance.

Who is it for?

The DOR assists people with disabilities so that they may live independently, become employed and experience equality in the community.

How do I qualify?

Eligibility for DOR services is based on the following factors:

  • You have a physical or mental impairment
  • Your impairment constitutes or results in a significant impediment to employment 
  • You require and can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services to prepare you to obtain, retain or regain employment
