The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) program assists service-disabled veterans with preparing and obtaining employment.
Who is it for?
Educational and vocational rehabilitation benefits and services are provided to eligible service members, veterans, and veterans' dependents.
How do I qualify?
You may qualify for these Chapter 31 benefits if you:
- Have a service-connected disability rated at least 20 percent disabling by the USDVA
- Need vocational rehabilitation to overcome an employment handicap
- Served after September 16, 1940
