Why Distance Education?

Distance education opens the door to possibilities. It provides disabled individuals with the means and ability to get valuable career training from the comfort of their own homes.

1. Accessibility – It provides ALL students with a way to get an education. Whether they live in remote or rural areas or are unable to travel, they can easily access the courses.
2. Flexibility – It enables students to take a course whenever they want. If they have a difficult schedule, they can choose to learn on their own time, in almost any type of setting.
3. Ease of Use – It allows students to work at their own pace. The online and traditional correspondence courses are easy to comprehend and provide detailed instructions for successful completion.
4. Sense of Independence – It provides students with the ability to complete something on their own terms. This can evoke a sense of accomplishment and feeling that they can achieve anything.
